25 people who tested negative discharged from Ejigbo Isolation center. Missing person arrested.

Twenty-five people who tested negative to the coronavirus pandemic were Saturday evening released from the Ejigbo Isolation center in Osun State Patmos Media Line can exclusively disclose.

The discharged persons who are from Delta, Ogun, Kwara , Oyo and Osun states were part of the 127 persons who were escorted by armed security men straight from the Ogun State boundary to the Ejigbo Camp. Ejigbo transporters are known owners of the fleet of vehicles that brought them in.

Their departure came after Osun State Police recovered the only sought after run away from the center, a woman and brought her back to the camp.

Patmos media Line learnt that an undisclosed amount of money was given them by Osun State to assist the discharged persons.

Some of them who spoke to the Press before departure were full of thanks to the Osun State Governor. A lady from Abia said they were confused initially but they appreciate the fact that Osun State saved them from imminent death.

A fellow said the Governor, his deputy and several commissioners came visiting which made them to be initially afraid until they were given assurances of life. He prayed for the survival of those who tested positive.


Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Ismail Omipidan confirmed the return of the runaway positive woman.

State Commissioner for Information, Mrs. Funke Egbemode assured that security at the Isolation center has been beefed up.

A report says Osun State has started the fumigation of Ile Ife streets.
