86 year old grandma bags Master of Arts in Human Sciences from Lincoln University.

An 86 year old grandmother has graduated with a Master of Arts in Human Sciences from Lincoln University.

The grandson, Kurt Carr announced this in a Tweet on Sunday when he wrote “My granny is 86 and graduating from SCHOOL AGAIN!!! Put some respect on that MASTERS, thank you for teaching me how to always be a student granny franny!”

Upcoming American comedian, Will Johnson (@iamwill_johnson) also tweeted about grandma who after many years has finally achieved the height in education she always wanted.

The post, which has since gone viral and received over 200,000 cumulative reactions, is a testament to the timelessness of education and the power of being goal-oriented in the pursuit of milestones

In the pursuit of one’s dreams and aspirations, one has to be prepared to go all the way to the end. Consistency, persistence and single-mindedness to achieve it all no matter whatsoever happens along the way is important. One can never be too young or too old to chase the things that keep them up at night, even more so if it is education.

Having a formal education has become a necessity in today’s world. Whatever the field, a formal education can widen the window of prospects and equip you with relevant skills and knowledge. Away from careers, achieving your desired educational levels can go a long way towards self-fulfillment and self-actualization.

Patmos Media Line had reported that former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar aged 74 has just gone back to a British University for a Masters’ study in International Relations.

Atiku Abubakar the report says wants to know why some decisions were taken when he was Vice Presidents and the errors made, if any, in the decisions.
