Abumeyang brace sinks Chelsea: Arsenal lifts FA Cup for the 14th time beat Chelsea 2-1.

The Arsenal Football Club of London, known as The Gunners made a 14th haul of the prestigious FA Cup at the Wembley Stadium with a brace from Captain, Pierre-Emerick Abumeyang over Chelsea in a comeback match that ended 2-1.

Abumeyeng who was rumored to be heading for Chelsea next season equalized a Christian Pulisic goal scored in the 5th minute with his clean penalty in 28th minute and then the winner in a classical finish at 67th minute.

There was no presentation of medal or trophy because of the Covid-19 rules as each player picked their medals while Skipper Abumeyang (also Captain of Gabon) struggled to pick and raise the trophy that kept falling apart.

Incidentally, Pulisic is the first American to score in an FA cup final while Mateo Kovacic is the first Croation to start an FA Cup final but he was red carded in the 73rd minute.

Mikel Arteta won the FA cup as a player with Arsenal and now as a Manager leading the Gunners to the first win in four of their FA Cup meetings. He will automatically lead Arsenal to the Europa Cup game. Former handler, Arsenal Manager, Arsen Wenger is the most successful Manager that has won the FA Cup seven times.

Arsenal established the stunning record of being the most successful club at the FA. The club is the only club to have won the FA Cup which is the oldest championship competition in football history for 14 times. Arsenal has won 13 League titles (including an unbeaten league title); 15 FA Community Shields; the League Centenary Trophy; One Eufa Cup winners.

The Chelsea boys called THE BLUES who were obviously sad with the loss for the coach too; Frank Lampard would have won as player and Manager just look like a stranded manager.

Chelsea has made the haul of the FA Cup only 8 times the last in 2018; won 5 League cups; one Eufa Super Cup in 1998 and a Community Shield Cup.

Manchester City who are the defending Champions by beating Watford FC 6-0 in the 2019 FA Cup finals were ousted in the semifinals by Arsenal FC.
