Two hours after the residential candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Tweeted the announcement of his son contacting the dreaded Coronavirus disease, wife of his closest rival in the 2019 Presidential elections and first Lady, Aisha Buhari actually replied him on same channel.
Mrs Buhari wrote a moving terse message on Atiku’s Tweeter handle: “Your Excellency, it’s with deep sense of concern that I extend my sincere prayers towards the quick recovery of your dear son. Allah renu en Amin”.
Ahaji Atiku had tweeted late on Sunday night: “My son has tested positive to Coronavirus. NCDC has been duly informed, and he has been moved to the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital in Abuja for treatment. I will appreciate it if you will have him in your prayers. Stay safe, Coronavirus is real”.

It could be determined however that he must have gone beyond the stage of self-quarantine before the result was ready and he tested positive.
Those who reacted to his tweeter message commended Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for coming out boldly to tell the nation about his predicament.
A daughter of the first family is still at the stage of self-quarantine at the Aso Villa and the nation has not been told of the state of her test. It was learnt that experts will spend eight hours to verify a test case.
Mrs. Aisha Buhari who announced that of the daughter of the first family said she was a returnee from Britain.
