The Church of God on the same Sunday that TB Joshua died lost another popular cleric; Rev Stephen Akinola has been lost to the cold hands of death.
Akinola who was the General Superintendent of Redemption Ministries, Worldwide, headquartered in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was said to have undergone a kidney transplant some time ago, though the cause of his death is still being kept under the radar.
Rev. Akinola who clocked 68 last March was said to have died at a hospital in Abuja in the early hours of Sunday as he has been sick for a while and Patmos Media learnt that his wife and children were with him in the hospital in Abuja as at Sunday when he died
A former Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria as well as former Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Rivers State, Apostle Eugene Ogu who confirmed the death of Akinola said he labored so much for the body of Christ.
