Former Senator Shehu Sani expressed regret at the continued attacks and kidnappings by bandits in Kaduna state.

According to reports, large numbers of bandits attacked the palace of Alhaji Alhassan Adamu, the Emir of Kajulu on Saturday's midnight.

The bandits were reportedly shooting randomly to intimidate people before incarcerating the victims.

His Royal Highness and the twelve members of his family were kidnapped during the midnight attack.

And reacting to the sad news, Senator Shehu Sani expressed his displeasure over the constant attacks in Kaduna.

He said: "The Emir of Kajuru, 30 minutes’ drive from Kaduna and twelve of his family members were forcefully kidnapped yesternight (Friday}. The Bandits operated freely for one hour in my town. Kaduna state nowadays is no more about who is safe but who the next victim is".

The Emir of Kajuru, Alhaji Alhassan Adamu was abducted at his residence in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna state by armed bandits.

According reports, the bandits also abducted 12 other family members of the emir including three women who are his wives and children.

Security operatives later raid Remon village, arrest over 100 suspects in connection to the incident.

The grandson of the emir and traditional title holder of Dan Kajuru, Saidu Musa confirmed the abduction and said the incident happened around 12:30 am.

The state government and police command are yet to speak on the incident as at the time of filing this report.
