CAF Imposes $5000 Fine on Sierra Leone over Benin tie for disobedience to rules.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has imposed a fine of $5000 on Sierra Leone for failing to adhere to the body’s rules.

CAF fined Sierra Leone for going against the football principles of loyalty, integrity, sportsmanship and ethics.

The decision to fine the country came after the confrontations between Leone Stars and Benin national team in the AFCON qualifier.

CAF also ruled out the claims for damages by the Benin Football Federation against Sierra Leone Football Association.
