Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday said key national issues like security, economy, devolution of power, and confidence-building measures topped the discussion at their meeting on the state of the nation on Thursday at the NICON HOTEL in Abuja.
He said the communiqué of the meeting will formerly be presented to President Muhammadu Buhari as soon as it is ready to receive them before it will be issued out publicly.
He said those present at the meeting pledged to lead in changing the narrative on how things are done in the country.
Patmos Media Line had reported that there was no communiqué after the over nine hours meeting and that none of those present at the meeting including former Head of State, Abdulsalam spoke with the press.
Chief Obasanjo did not on Friday confirm the said rowdiness and sharp disagreement reported was the stain of the meeting.
