Confirmed: Super Eagles to battle Liberia’s Lone Star in Morocco in WC2022.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria is now to do battle with Liberia in the 2022 World Cup qualifier on November 11 in Tangier, Morocco and not in Monrovia, Liberia as speculated.

This is sequel to the refusal of FIFA to lift a ban on the Monrovia stadium which is said to be sub-standard.

The Lone Star have played their home games in the World Cup qualifiers in Accra, Ghana.

Nigeria beat Liberia 2-0 in Lagos in September to kick start their World Cup qualifying campaign in the group stage.

The Super Eagles top Group C with nine points, while Cape Verde is second on seven points.

Liberia lies at the bottom of the standings with three points while Central African Republic placed third having recorded four points.
