CORONAVIRUS EMPTY THE STREETS OF ITALY: JUVENTUS POSTPONES MATCHES AND TRAINING.- Patmos Media Line


The world ravaging Coronavirus disease has caused economic and social paralyses to the Italian country as Juventus Football Club known as Old Lady has to suspend all football activities because the Team Manager and three of her player are under quarantine over the disease.

Patmos Media L:ine learnt that the team manager of the U23 teams and three of the players were under serious observation for the ailment while the encounter between the club and Inter Milan meant to be played indoors on Saturday night was postponed till May.

While the football Association is rescheduling many of the matches, The Juventus management told her U23 team not to resume training until March 8.


Agent France Press (AFC) even reports that the economic and social paralyses is enhanced by the Italian government that says 1,128 persons have tested positive while 29 people have died, as the authorities told her citizens to stay indoors and avoid contact.

Areas affected are Lombardy, Veneto, Bergano and Milan where there are empty streets, subways schools cafes and restaurants.

A special report says Milan, the bustling economic and fashion capital of Italy is badly affected as night clubs, La Scala, gymnasiums, swimming pools and the social centers are also shut.
