Some naked women were Tuesday seen protesting naked against the Rivers State Government over some treatment allegedly meted to an Hotelier in the State.
The women who are Ogoni women protested with half clothing, threatening to go full blown without cloths if their son Dr. Bariledum Azoroh who is the Manager of Prodest Hotel is not released to them.
They contended that Dr. Azoroh was on May 24, 2020 declared COVID-19 Positive and publicly named by the Rivers State Government as against the ethics of the coronavirus pandemic if the Manager had it at all.
The protest took place in Bori, headquarters of khana Local Government area.
Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC) had in a Statement on May 25, 2020 rejected the report of COVID-19 positive case on Prodest Hotel manager and called for a publicly monitored retest.
The protesting women aged between 65 to 70, vowed to go completely clothless and take their protest to government house, Port Harcourt if their son, the Prodest Hotel manager is not released.
Centre for Advocacy rejected reports that Prodest Hotel Manager argued that he is covid-19 positive and called for a re-test.
