ELRUFAI VISITS SANUSI IN AWE: JUMAT SERVICE HELD IN THE BUNK SITTING ROOM.

Few hours after a Federal High sitting in Abuja set the deposed Emir of Kano; Sanusi Lamido Sanusi free from detention, Governor Nasir ElRufai has met with him at his Awe bunk in Nasarawa State.

Patmos Media Line gathered that the few men who accompanied Governor ElRufai had a Jumat service in the sitting room of his two bedroom bunk led by Sanusi himself but we cannot say what the flow of prayers were for example.

All Journalists who accompanied the Governor were not allowed into the yard of the bunk but instructed to stay 200 meters away with a no Camera or phone camera shot snaps as usual.

We could not immediately identify the big men who were allowed to go inside with Governor ElRufai as protocols were cut off from the 200 stern looking security operatives who claim they have not received instructions from above, a usual phrase with them even when we told them about the court order setting free the former Emir.

ElRufai had announced repeatedly for three days now that he was going to visit the deposed Emir at his Awe bunk. He had made Sanusi the Chancellor of the Kaduna State University and the Chair of the State Investment and Development Board.

Sanusi dressed simply in Agbada (flowing gown) as there was no headgear with two like horns known with the Emir. He was told Tuesday to remove that at the Governor’s office, he simply wore a white cap called Tajia in Islamic dressing and used a red cloth to cover his head during prayers which in Arabic culture is called Rawani or Lawani in Yoruba language but is typical to how Muslims dress in Saudi Arabia.

Kindly note that the last two photographs were not taken at Awe.

It could not be ascertained whether Sanusi would still pass the night in Awe but Awe citizens were lamenting the opportunity to have him worship with them at their Central Mosque. Patmos Media Line gathered that the Mosque witnessed excess worshipers some of who came from neighboring towns.

Immediately Governor El Rufai left all the people were chased away by the security operatives.
