Patmos Media Line learnt that Governor Makinde spoke with his Ekiti counterpart, Fayemi on Saturday night expressing hard feelings to the disrespect shown the Alaafin by Oba Alabi.
Oba Alabi had written that Ekiti Obas are not the Ajele of the Alaafin who he said loves to stir trouble everywhere adding that Ekiti State Council of Obas is “highly offended by the vituperation poured on our Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi through Alaafin’s unsolicited intervention in a purely domestic affair of our council”.
Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Adeyemi insited that he wrote the letter in good faith to Governor Fayemi as father to son explaining that the Yoruba traditional institution was ancestral and spiritual.
