Nigeria’s former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida has called for synergy between the federal Government and the State Governments to be able to ward of the coronavirus pandemic within the Nigerian shores.

General Babangida in a statement released from his Hilltop Mansion in Minna, Niger State on Sunday made avialble to Patmos Media Line said this is necessary “to reduce the attendant implications for flattening curve, increasing testing capacity and reduce the pains like other countries” as China and Taiwan.
He commended with due regards the professional display and wonderful efforts of our frontline medical personnel for their patriotism, resilience, sacrifice and commitment to the battle against covid-19.
The former leader also commended governments at various levels for the palliatives given to alleviate the excruciating pains associated with the lockdown.
IBB called on Christians to use this holy period of Easter to pray fervently for Nigeria and called on the Muslim Umaahs to also use the pre Ramadan period to pray for God’s mercy over the country at this period.
He urged all citizens to conform with the NCDC directives of hygienic living, social distancing and public gathering rules for the common good of all.
