The Joint and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has brought forward all her examinations slated for Monday, 23rd
In a special notice, JAMB said candidates whose examinations were scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled for Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March.
JAMB urged all her candidates to go and reprint their slips to know their rescheduled dates.
Meanwhile a JAMB candidate identified as Aker Nguyilan has died while she was on her way to write the examination around Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State.
According to reports, the young girl was a pre-degree student of University of Calabar, and she passed on yesterday 18th of March in a Bike accident that claimed her life.
Her friends have since taken to social media to mourn her.
Late Miss Angel Nguyilan died in Okada accident.
Comr Akaaza Ayila Samuel who disclosed the report on Facebook said, Miss Angel Nguyilan Aker. It’s so sad; I can’t believe that you will leave me in this UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR today. Even when we were in physics department yesterday, you did not tell me “you will leave me today” Now I’m left alone with tears. It’s very touching, may your soul rest in peace with the Lord till we meet to part no more amen. (Missed you forever).
Miss Nguyilan Aker hails from Benue State, is a PRE-DEGREE student of the university of Calabar, Cross River State Nigeria.
Aondoaver Immanuel with 21 others (friends) also wrote: I can’t believe you are dead. You had expressed desire to score high marks in JAMB but now you are dead”.
