Manchester City Thursday night slammed current English Premiership League champions, Liverpool FC 4-0 in a league match making the entire club to walk alone days after the team was declared champion with seven matches to go.
It was a night things fell apart for the Red Devils known as Liverpool and Anfield which is their nest went cold. The last time Liverpool fell so badly was in 2012 when they lost to Spurs 3-1.
Mohammed Sallah quickly gave an excuse that the players were not together before the match and the unity of the team was lost. Players had wanted the game on before their encounter with Manchester City as they believe there would be no lively game when City hosts them but they were shocked.

Sheffield United shocked Jose Maurinho when the thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 in a match played earlier.

Twenty clubs are participating in the competition. First four will go for Champions League while three will play in the Europa League but two teams at the bottom will be relegated.
Man City is under suspension not to play continental games next season but their appeal is pending.
