Muslim Rights Concern condemn Miyetti Allah claim that Fulani will rule Nigeria forever.

The Muslim Rights Concern has objected to the boast of the Miyetti Allah movement that the Fulani tribe will rule Nigeria.

Director of the organisation, Prof Ishaq Akintola, MURIC said in a statement on Saturday that Nigeria belonged to no particular tribe or ethnic group.

He condemned the statement credited to the National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Abdullahi Bodejo that the Fulani will rule Nigeria forever and held that it was divisive, explosive and provocative statements capable of causing disharmony in the society.

The statement reads, "We call on Miyetti Allah to confirm or deny the alleged statement. We affirm that Nigeria belongs to no particular tribe and every ethnic group has a stake in the Nigerian project. Leadership is therefore not the birthright of any ethnicity.

"We appeal to Nigerians to ignore the statement allegedly made by Miyetti Allah and to allow the group to make clarifications. We call on leaders to avoid divisive, explosive and provocative statements."

Miyetti Allah had boasted of controlling Nigeria severally and the Presidency has been quiet over their outbursts.

The Presidency has equally kept mute over several allegations of rape, killings and wanton destruction of farm lands across the nation especially in Southern Nigeria.

The South West region of Nigeria formed the Amotekun security network to checkmate their incursions in the region.
