Youngster Jamal Lewis score his first EPL goal to give Norwich Football Club a hope to get out of the relegation zone of the British top league game as the team got a home lone goal victory over Leicester City on Friday night football.
It was a 70th minute fabulous curling shot from outside the penalty box that gave Norwich her 5th win and incidentally the 5th loss of Leicester City. The victory gave Norwich 21 points still at the bottom but Leicester has 50 points and still 3rd on the table.
Nigerian forward, Kelechi Ihenacho whose goal was disallowed for a handball wearing a sad look said he did not feel the ball touch his hand because he was concentrating on the ball but his coach Brendan Rodgers protested the decision of the referee.
Sports Commentators argued that the disallowed Ihenacho goal was very harsh.
Norwich still have a long way to go to stay afloat but Lewis said the club will survive.
It was obvious that Leicester missed injured top striker Vardy but the rampaging young boys Norwich fielded gave Nigeria’s Wilfred Ndidi great challenges that he could not assist in attacking as he used to do.
