Franco German handler of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr may not handle the team again any moment from now as the cold war between the Manager and his employers, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF gets tougher.
There is no sign that the NFF will renew his contract that expires in June and the postponed two legged match between Nigeria and Sierra Leone initially scheduled for March 27 and April 2 may be under a new Manager.
Patmos Media Line Sports gathered that the NFF had already concluded a secret arrangement with a Manager who may be announced first week of April.
It was learnt that the sins of Rohr are many. He was alleged to have played games with Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations that took place in Egypt leading to some embarrassing games.
Rohr had been queried on his strolling to speak with the press more than working with his football programs as well as complaining of unpaid allowances to the press.
Of recent, he was said to have given the new assistant coach and former captain, Joseph Yobo a cold shoulder as the two of them have never sat or found time to talk together which the NFF sees as a confrontation.
The greatest hold is that Sports Minister; Sunday Dare has found no efficiency in the German Coach and did not hide it as he tries to overhaul all sporting associations for a greater Nigeria.
All these we learnt is what the Amadu Pinnick led NFF had put together to want another Manager despite the fact that Rohr qualified and led Nigeria to the last Russia World cup.
