Nationalism and patriotism has been thrown to the dogs in Nigeria as foreign Nigerian returnees file wrong addresses and telephone numbers at the point of entry making it difficult to trace them. Nigeria’s Information Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed stated this at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday. Alhaji Mohammed revealed that 4,370 people are being tracked by the NCDC which are suspected cases and pleaded they report and not endanger Nigerians.

Alhaji Mohammed identified scaremongers as the pillar of disturbance that discourage people from coming forward for testing emphasizing that testing positive to coronavirus disease is not a death sentence.
He frowned at a set of people who said are also distracting the government move with meaningless arguments.
The Information Minister said another great danger are disobedient people who are still attending large gatherings stressing that Government may do something more drastic on this.
He thanked foreign organizations that made donations to the country and some airlines that voluntarily shut down to help reduce contacts on domestic routes.
